Beyoncé's "Party" video debuts on Tuesday, it will be with J. Cole not Andre 3000. And the newcomer won't just be making a cameo alongside Kelly Rowland and Solange, he'll be replacing 'Dre's rhyme all together. Conveniently signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, Cole gave Mrs. Carter a verse for a remix to the 4 track, and it looks like Team B liked it enough to decide to go in a different direction—that, or Andre was just unavailable and they'd rather not make two videos.
While most of the song is kept intact—Kanye's "swagu" intro included—Cole's verse focuses more on international travel rather just the international delicacies offered at the local food court, swapping "gyros" for more luxurious Bugatti. "We out in Abu Dhabi, we like to party/ We don’t cause trouble, we just ride Bugatti/ Bad chick shawty, sort of resemble Sade," he begins, which is much more upbeat than Andre's conflicting feelings about getting older. Jermaine is a lot more positive throughout his lines, ending things with "La di da di." Because, why not? (Or because he was under a time crunch.) Luckily landing a last-minute guest star in your video is just one of the perks of having a famous husband.
