We've got some good news, and some bad news. The good news is that Carrie Underwood has confirmed that she's going to "buckle down" and "start working on the next album" once her starring role in NBC's upcoming live production of The Sound of Music wraps up. The bad news is that it doesn't air until December 5, so we've still got a while to wait.
Before The Sound of Music and album number five, Carrie's got her Blown Away tour DVD to plug. It drops on August 13, and according to All Access, Carrie will promote it on Good Morning America and Live! With Kelly & Michael next week. Hopefully the chatty breakfast show hosts will be able to find out some more details on the new album, even if it still a long way from release.
