As she is wont to do at this time of year, Demi Lovato performed the National Anthem during the World Series on Sunday night. It was Game 4 and the San Francisco Giants were on the brink of postseason glory, hoping to spoil the hometown Tiger fans' hopes for a historic comeback after being down three games. What better way to inspire than with a tattooed former teen star delivering a rousing live rendition of one of our most patriotic tunes?

Now that she's a judge on The X Factor, FOX felt it appropriate to squeeze out a little more cross-promotion from their telecast. Once again Demi reminds us that she's a singer first, Barney's playhouse and meatballs aside. She takes liberties with the arrangement and adds some diva tips towards song's end, but we can't blame her; she's learned from one of the best. Watch below.

And—oh yeah—the Giants prevailed in 10 innings to defeat the Tigers 4-3, complete the sweep and secure their second World Series title in three years. Sorry, Big Sean.
