As family, friends and fans gathered at Nate Dogg's memorial service in Long Beach on Saturday, the somber occasion moved some of the hip-hop figures he worked with (and some he didn't) to pay their respects online. Too $hort, The Game, DJ Premier and Snoop Dogg all posted wistful tweets, but the latter went further, commemorating the singer whose voice accompanied his own on classic tracks like "All About U" and "Ain't No Fun" with a new tattoo.

Snoop also announced a charitable fund for his late friend, stating: "In memory of Nate Dogg, a memorial trust has been set up for expenses of services and the financial security of Nate's children."
