After the Little Monsters finally got #iHeartARTPOP trending as their Mother Monster requested, Lady Gaga officially released the cover art for her upcoming album ARTPOP.

The artist behind the Birth of Venus/pop art mash-up is contemporary artist Jeff Koons, whom Gaga references in her lead single "Applause" ("One second I'm a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me.") So far, we've heard "Applause" and "Aura" off of Gaga's third studio album, which the lady herself has describes as "a celebration and a poetic musical journey."

If this image of Gaga cupping her breasts while birthing a shiny blue ball is any indication, sh*t's about to get weird.
