Hilary Duff comes out every couple of months and promises that she's ready to return to music, and then usually retracts her statements a few months later. It's a vicious cycle that's been going on for years now. However, this time it looks like the former teen idol may actually be serious about reviving her career -- for real this time! Not only has Hil confirmed that she's shooting a "wildly inappropriate" new comedy with Ray Liotta called Flock of Dudes, she also says that she's focusing on music again.
"I'm gonna focus on my music," revealed the Lizzie McGuire star. "It's been a long time coming, and I think I'm finally buckling down and getting in the studio. I really miss touring, I really miss connecting with my fans in that way."
Flock of Dudes will be Duff's first film since last year's straight-to-DVD comedy, She Wants Me, and the new music will be the first we've heard from her since she wrote and recorded the song, "Any Other Day," for the soundtrack to her 2009 drama, What Goes Up.
