If Kanye West should look out his window this morning and see an inverted sun—nay, a black hole sun—outside his window, then he'll know that he's really done it. 'Ye added an unexpected name to his long list of parties offended over the course of his decade-plus musical career when his soundcheck for his performance at the Big Day Out festival in Australia was so loud that it disrupted the nearby set of his fellow festival headliners, '90s grunge rockers Soundgarden. "Sounds like there’s children playing music there," singer Chris Cornell quipped to his irritating, booing fans. "Retarded children, retarded as in held back. There’s no other word for it."
Soundgarden fans weren't the only crowd to turn on Kanye at Big Day Out. Yeezy's own fans took to booing when he showed up 45 minutes late to his set, due to sporadic bouts of rain throught the night. Reportedly, the crowd also took to chanting "BULL-SHIT!"—implying a sense of surprise and/or dispapointment, which if you ask us, means they probably weren't real Kanye fans. I mean, have these guys even heard "Stronger"? They should be honored by Kanye's lateness. Soundgarden, on the other hand—we can't wait for their thinly-veiled 'Ye dis track on their new mixtape.
