Miley Cyrus has toned it down for the official artwork for her next Bangerz single, "Adore You." The pretty picture packs in a number of today's biggest trends --minimalism, Instragram filters, and retro '80s and '90s aesthetics--, marking a 180-degree change from the naked-on-a-wrecking-ball artwork for Miley's last single.
One thing that stands out about the photo is the bouquet of pink roses Miley's clutching -- they're all withered and on their way to the compost heap. Since "Adore You" (which we've already decided is the future best ballad of 2014) is believed to have originally been dedicated to Liam Hemsworth when Miley first recorded it, could the half-dead flowers possibly be a reference to the death of their relationship?
Shit just got real deep, yo'.
