Well, this is very exciting. Missy Elliott has confirmed that she'll be performing at U.S.-based K-pop convention, KCON 2013, when it rolls into town later this month.
Scheduled to be held over two days at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena from August 24-25, Missy will join major K-poppers like f(x), EXO, Dynamic Duo, and BIGBANG's G-Dragon as part of the star-studded performance lineup. According to the L.A. Times, Missy's performance will be aired on the popular Korean music program, M! Countdown, which will broadcast an episode from the States for the first time ever as part of KCON. It's highly likely that the rapstress will be joined on stage by G-Dragon, who has already confirmed that she'll feature on his forthcoming sophomore solo album. Otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense to have an American hip-hop artist at a Korean music convention, would it?
