Oh my gosh, look at that record. Nicki Minaj knows exactly how to put the spotlight back on her—using her butt, that is. For the rapper's new music video "Anaconda," which features a heavy sampling of Sir Mix-A-Lot's classic "Baby Got Back," has racked up 19.6 million VEVO views in just 24 hours. She blasts pass the former record holder, Miley Cyrus—who set the bar rather high with "Wrecking Ball." The searing ballad landed with 19.3 million views on the popular streaming site upon its release last summer.

Minaj's "Anaconda" intros her forthcoming The Pink Print disc, projected for a fall release. This Sunday (Aug. 24), she is set to perform the thumping track on the MTV VMAs, surely to become this year's most controversial moment. She joins a plethora of performers on this year's broadcast—which includes showings from Beyonce, Usher, Maroon 5, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora and Taylor Swift.
The previous VEVO record was held by One Direction with "Best Song Ever," which racked up 12.3 million eyes in July 2013.
Of course, what we've all been wanting to know is...what does Sir Mix-A-Lot think of "Anaconda"? Well, the rapper recently shared his thoughts on the booty-ful topic. It pretty much sums up everyone's reaction to the video, let's be honest.
