Amazingly, it looks like Rick Ross went back in the air today after experiencing a seizure on board a plane to Memphis, in an attempt to make his scheduled concert at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, part of their "Midnight Madness" college basketball season kickoff. Now flying a private jet to Memphis, the rapper suffered another seizure, and had to make a second emergency landing, this time in Birmingham, Alabama, where the rapper was hospitalized. TMZ reports that Ross' condition has been upgraded to stable, but that Ross will not make the Memphis performance after all. (Considering, we doubt anyone in Tennessee will be terribly angry at his no-show.)
We hoped we were out of the woods with Rozay's health scare earlier today, but apparently we celebrated a little too soon. We continue to hope for the best—and certainly that Ross doesn't attempt to fly anywhere else in the next 48 hours.
