Wallis Simpson once said, “You can never be too rich or too thin” —but is that really true?
I wouldn’t argue that you can’t be too rich, but the too thin part is definitely questionable.
Fredrickson shed an astounding 155 pounds in total—going from 260 to 105 pounds in just one season—making her the thinnest Biggest Loser champion of all time.
An impressive achievement indeed but one that has some questioning if the NBC show has gone too far—and if the LA based voiceover artist’s results have set an unhealthy precedent.
“I am extremely proud of the way I lost the weight on the show,” Frederickson said in a conference call on Wednesday.
“I followed the advice and the support of the medical team on The Biggest Loser," she added.
However, that didn’t prevent critics—including former contestants—from chiming in on social media.
“I thought she was shockingly skinny.. You could see her bones,” Biggest Loser season 4 contestant, Nicole Michalik tweeted.
“And I thought I was too skinny at The Biggest Loser finale,” season 13 finalist, Kim Nielsen, tweeted. “That was ridiculous!”
What do you think… is Rachel Fredrickson too skinny now?
