Three things bring the Twitterverse together as one: International geological crises, premature celebrity deaths and unexpected American Idol eliminations. The latter's effect was certainly in play last night, as Pia Toscano, the Celine Dion-esque diva tabbed by many as one of the favorites to make the finals, was eliminated in ninth place, to the surprise of everyone. (Well, almost everyone.) Toscano's exit sent reverberations throughout the internet, as numerous high-profile Idol fans—movie stars, former Idol contestants, TWO Jersey Shore cast members—took to social media to voice their displeasure at America's decision:
