Teen Wolf fans, breathe in and out, Tyler Posey is going to host this year's Teen Choice Awards!!
The 22-year-old singer and actor will take the stage in Los Angeles, California at the Pauley Pavilion on August 10. The TCAs will also air live on FOX at 8/7c. Maybe Posey will show us some real wolf action within the two hours he has our attention—don't worry though, he'll save his claws for the next full moon.
Teen Wolf won the "Choice Summer TV Show" last year and Posey took home the award for "Choice Summer TV Male Star"—so, it's no surprise why they chose him to host the show this year, he's everybody's favorite!
Meanwhile, Teen Wolf is up for four nominations this year—making it the second most nominated in the TV category, behind The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars, which both topped five nominations.
Teen Wolf is nominated for the following categories:
- Fantasy/Sci-Fi (Teen Wolf)
- Actor Fantasy/Sci-Fi (Tyler Posey - Teen Wolf)
- Male Scene Stealer (Tyler Hoechlin - Teen Wolf)
- Choice TV Villain (Dylan O'Brien - Teen Wolf)
Posey isn't the only one making an appearance at the show. Confirmed guests include Pretty Little Liars stars Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Keegan Allen, and Tyler Blackburn, along with the Classic duo MKTO. Plus, Blended star, Bella Thorne, will present an award.
The British invasion continues with Rixton. You may have heard their song on the radio more than a few times—they're the guys behind Me and My Broken Heart which racked up over 750,000 downloads. Personally, they remind me of Maroon 5.
If you haven't heard Rude by MAGIC!, you must be living under a rock. It seems to have been on repeat play absolutely everywhere for the past few months and as much as you may be sick to death of it by now, you have to admit that it's always stuck in your head. Why you gotta be so rude... Don't you know I'm human too? [...] I'm gonna marry you anyway. Yup, that song. The band, originally from Toronto, will be taking the TCA stage—and most likely, they'll be performing Rude. So yep, it's likely you'll hear it at least one more time before summer ends.
Here's to another great award show! Teens, it's up to you to vote for your all time favorites this year. You can vote as long as you're from the ages of 13 to 19 on the TCA website.
