Andy Grammer gives enlightened meaning to arena-sized pop with his brand spanking new single "Back Home." Filtered through the indie-folk lens, he borrows significant influences from such modern rockers as John Mayer, Jack Johnson and OneRepublic, but he always stays true to who he is.

Drawing a line in the sand, his new offering is full of promise, shifting between an infectious pop hook and a melody that lingers for days. He doesn't depend too much on the groovy underpinnings, layering his smooth voice over the percussion and guitar like butter on toast. The track sweeps from the subtle, nuanced first verse to the mountainous fist-pumping chorus...and then back again. It's charming and has the potential to become a huge Hot 100 smash.

Previously, Grammer has released a full-length album, a self-titled project, in 2011 and the equally stunning Crazy Beautiful EP in 2013. These records have set the stage for a truly magnificent superstar breakthrough this year. If you can't tell, we really dig this song.
