Avril's weekend, before: A pleasant outing with former The Hills star Brody Jenner--as much as outings with The Hills stars can be pleasant, mind. Avril's weekend: after: disaster. Specifically, a fight with an unknown woman at Los Angeles' Roosevelt Hotel, which Jenner tried to break up and was badly injured (warning: link goes to TMZ.) Here's Avril's take, via Twitter:
I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up, I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f---ed. As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.
By Twitter indications, Lavigne and Jenner are both going to be OK, scuffs and embarrassment aside. So we're OK with saying that, as fights go, Avril Lavigne and an unknown, fisticuffs only, is about fifteen steps above Joe Francis and tasing. If you've gotta be in a brawl, the one without Joe Francis is probably the better pick, you know? (We're not serious; violence is indeed never the answer. In case that wasn't clear.)
