The 2016 Bayou Country Superfest is set to take over Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Memorial Day weekend, Friday May 27, through Sunday, May 29, with headliners, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. Tickets for the Bayou Country Superfest are currently on sale now.
Tickets for this music festival have been steadily rising in demand across the secondary market, with a 3-Day Pass averaging $350, according to the data provided by TiqIQ. In addition to the secondary markets, passes for this superfest can be found on Groupon, with packages starting at $75 for a single day ticket.
Luke Bryan will kick things off headlining Friday May 27, and Eric Church to take the stage on Saturday May 28. Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley, will close the superfest on Sunday May 29. Other artists that are scheduled to appear throughout the weekend are, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell, Brothers Osborne and more.
The Bayou Country Superfest is co produced by Festival Productions, Inc., which is also responsible for organizing the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Recently they have branched out to the country music world, and brought together two new country music festivals at major racetracks, Daytona International Speedway, in Florida, and Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
Louisiana State University’s Tigers Stadium invites fans and attendees to head over to the grounds early and experience the tradition of an LSU tailgate. Also on the festival grounds, RV parking is also available to secure to ensure easy access to the superfest all weekend long.
With Miranda Lambert’s headlining set cut short due to thunderstorms in 2015, as well as new music from Eric Church and, the success of Little Big Town over the last year, as well as all four headliners being familiar faces to the stadium and festival, the Bayou Country Superfest 2016 passes will continue to rise in demand as Memorial Day approaches.
