The 1980s were not the best times for fashion and beauty, but they were a time for families and fun. Go back in time with this less-than-glamorous comedy about a young teenager who wants nothing more than for her hair to be curly and stylish, and her parents who are just trying to get their own lives together. Laugh, cry, and thank God you never got the idea to put a perm in your hair as you watch this family decide whether or not they are going to accept the blessed mess that they are. Warning: spandex might make several appearances.
If you weren't wary of aliens already, you certainly will be after sitting through this fantasy thriller flick. When a sturdy detective discovers his son has been abducted, he sets out on his toughest mission yet. He has to rescue his son from an abnormal situation. He's being held captive on an alien warship that's taken off. After it makes a crash landing in Southeast Asia, this father will have to get crafty in order to get his child back, making an alliance with other survivors to try and also recover control of the planet. Sounds like a pretty tricky task ahead.
Howdy, partner! Time to take a trip down the dark, twisty path of the Wild West. Here, we meet Lefty Brown, a cowboy who is forced to witness the murder of his partner in cold blood, right in front of his eyes, just after the man is elected to be senator. Lefty sets out on a mission to avenge his friend's death. The journey won't be without trial and tribulations as he works to find a support system of fellow men to join him on his journey for justice. But what happens when Lefty himself turns into the man who's accused of the murder once he returns home?
One to take the kiddos to this weekend, a friendly bull named Ferdinand escapes from his training camp in Spain after his father does not return home from a showdown with a matador. Sad start like most children's films these days, but happiness comes for our star when he makes his way to a farm and is adopted by a little girl. Trouble strikes again when Ferdinand is brought back to his original captivity. Through the help of some friendly hedgehogs and a giggly goat, Ferdinand is in a race to get home before he'll have to face a bullfighter with a perfect record.
And our ⭐️ TOP PICK ⭐️ ...
Alas, the force is awake within society once more! This time around, a woman is in the forefront, and it's got Luke Skywalker a little bit uptight as Rey learns of new skills she didn't know she had. This lady is super strong, so wait and see what she'll do with it. Meanwhile, the Resistance and the First Order and preparing to go back to battle with one another, since this wouldn't be legit without at least one war along the line. Get comfy for this one, you'll be at the theatre more than two hours. Plus, keep your eye out for Carrie Fisher, too, in her last film appearance.
