You've heard that boy bands are back and that a lot of 'em are coming from across the pond, yes? Well, if it's "no," that means you haven't been reading a lick of our website the last month or so, so maybe just avoid answering altogether if so. Anyway, looks like someone told boy/girl group S Club 7 (or string-pulling impresario Simon Fuller) that the early-'00s were back, because they've decided to reunite for a series of one-off gigs and even a couple new albums. (Though with the membership somewhat in flux these last few years, the group has come to be referred to as S Club 8, S Club 3, and they're wisely now known just as the more positionally flexible S Club.)

"The guys have been inundated with approaches and offers over the past three years, but always said no," a source close to the group informed the Daily Mirror. "But following a series of talks and meetings, they decided to go for it... It was a case of now or never. " Very true—or at the very least, it was a case of now or another 12 years from now when the boy band cycle is done its latest revolution around around the sun. We're pumped to have the S Club Party back in our lives again, though—and we look forward to seeing Steps, Westlife, and Boyzone follow suit soon enough. (Wait a minute, all those groups are still together? Seriously? WHY WERE WE NOT INFORMED??)
