The old adage, “better the devil you know” took took a bizarre and horrible turn last week in Boston, when a horned man was convicted of murder, amongst other charges—including, kidnapping of three people in Massachusetts in 2011 and intimidation of a witness.
"I'll See You In Hell,” 34-year-old Caius Veiovis, the convicted murderer with surgically implanted devil horns, yelled at the jury upon hearing his guilty verdict.
Originally known as Roy Gutfinski, Veiovis changed his name back in 2008, following a seven year stint in a Maine prison, for attacking a teenager with a razor blade and then allegedly drinking his blood.
Veiovis’ latest conviction stems from the brutal murder and dismemberment, of three Pittsfield men back in 2011. The bodies of David Glasser, 44, Edward Frampton, 58, and Robert Chadwell, 47, were found buried in a nearby town—the gruesome discovery shocked the small town's population of 41,000.
Earlier this year, two co-defendants in the case were sentenced to life without parole—the same penalty faced by Veiovis, who, along with the implanted horns, also has 666 tattooed on his forehead.
