Lady Gaga shocked us about as much as her vomit performance on Friday when she announced that quirky K-pop group Crayon Pop would serve as the opening act for select dates on her North American ArtRAVE tour.
Crayon Pop spoke to the Associated Press about the big news, comparing their own eccentric style to Mother Monster's and revealing that they're learning English to try and better communicate with their international fans.
“Just like Crayon Pop, Lady Gaga has a lot of unique performances and clothing, and I think that is very special," said member Choa. "Our members’ favourite song is 'Poker Face'."
Crayon Pop's Gummy added, “We are learning and practicing English. We are preparing to show you more of our unique style."
According to Crayon Pop's label, the girls' opening set for ArtRAVE will last about 30 minutes, and will contain their hit "Bar Bar Bar," their upcoming single ""UH-EE!" and more.
Fingers crossed that they throw in a Gaga cover, too. Crayon Pop performing "Venus" would be everything.
