Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino a.k.a. Troy Barnes on Community a.k.a. the due who tweeted about two people having sex in a Bank of America, has a new album Camp out this September. To get us pumped and ready to spend our hard-earned dollars on his latest endeavor, Glover has released a 36-second teaser clip that quickly runs through everything he's good at: rapping, rope swinging, eating and chilling with Abed. The video also features Glover's new song, which he premiered at San Diego's Comic-Con over the weekend and possesses the ferocity of Lil Wayne's "6 Foot 7 Foot," as well shots of him performing alongside Reggie Watts, as well as close-ups on those surprisingly bulging back muscles that should have been reason enough for producers to take his Spider-Man campaign a little more seriously. And if you, like us, have been missing his presence on your Twitter timeline, Glover has credited his absence to obligatory studio work for Camp, which we guess we can forgive. It's a quick turnaround for a new musical project considering his last mixtape EP came out in March, but being the work of the ultimate multi-tasker and overachiever (filming for Glover's day job on Community season three just got underway yesterday; Glover was one of the youngest 30 Rock writers on staff) this sounds about right.
