Don't You Leave Karmin "Brokenhearted" Tonight

After taking The Internet by storm last year with a couple viral covers of contemporary hip-hop hits ("Look At Me Now," "Super Bass," "Bitch Suck Dick" "6 Foot 7 Foot"), Massachusetts man-and-wife-to-be duo Karmin have faced the unenviable task of proving their mettle on original material. Last year's "Crash Your Party" was a good start, but "Brokenhearted" faces a much better chance of breaking them through to the Top 40, with a Katy Perry/Dr. Luke style super-pop groove—the first few notes are all but guaranteed to give you "Last Friday Night" flashbacks and a chorus sentiment ("Don't you leave me brokenhearted tonight") that has definite lovelorn-party-anthem potential.

And don't worry, there's still plenty of singer Amy Heidemann's trademark Ke$ha-style rapping—she even takes on a Minajian British accent ("C'mon / That's right / Cheerio") in spells. Hey, nothing succeeds like $ucce$$. Check Karmin out in all their viral-turned-real-world glory when they play on SNL in two weeks.
