That's one way to get a promotion...

When it comes to job seeking, it's usually best NOT to send naked selfies of yourself to a potential employer.

But, one Chicago man did just that—accidentally sexting a Human Resources manager naked photos of himself, not once, but twice—good job dude!

Adding yet further to the indignity,The Chicago Tribune reports that the 23-year-old unnamed man had just been made a conditional offer of employment by the very HR manager he accidentally sexted.

Talk about a major bummer.

The HR manager called the cops on the naked selfie sexter—unaware he was the potential new employee until the man followed up on his job offer the following morning, and company officials matched his caller ID with that of the anonymous naked selfie sexter.

"There was a conditional offer of employment made to this particular applicant," Elmhurst Police Chief Michael Ruth told The Tribune. "He texted the HR director and sent a nude photo of himself."

Not surprisingly, the HR manager was decidedly unimpressed by the naked selfie sexter's unconventional job seeking methods, and subsequently rescinded the offer of employment.

When contacted by cops, the naked selfie sexter explained that it had been just one big embarrassing mistake, and that he had actually intended to share his dick pics with some other lucky individual, rather than his future employer.

According to the police report:

[Police] contacted the offender who admitted to sending the photographs, explaining they were actually meant for another individual and were sent to the victim in error. [Police] advised the offender to cease any contact with the victim.

Meanwhile, Ruth says his department is having to deal with the affects of sexting-related mishaps, on an ever increasing basis.

"We're seeing it much more often now with our young people sending inappropriate photos of themselves," he told The Tribune. "They're sharing it with someone else and the next thing you know it takes on a life of its own."
