Ellie Goulding is one of those captivating vocalists that make you stop and listen. During her visit to The Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday (April 15), the pop singer performed her new hit "Beating Heart," from the film Divergent.
All in black--ahem, look at those leather pants!--Goulding dipped into the lyrics, unraveling the story of risky love.
Also on the Divergent soundtrack, Goulding offers up another song called "Hanging On" (I See MONSTAS Remix). Other artists included on the compilation are Zedd, Matthew Koma, Pia Mia, Chance The Rapper, Pretty Lights and A$AP Rocky.
Despite continuing to collect radio hits and momentum, Goulding is looking to take a break from it all--so don't expect a new album any time soon. "As much as I love what I do, and music is obviously everything to me, I'm being pulled home, and I've got to do that soon, I think," she told Billboard last month.
She added, "I need to sort my life out." Well, we should probably enjoy her magical voice while we can.
