G-Dragon is not skimping when it comes to the promotion for his new solo album, Coup D'etat. Just days after releasing the music video for the trap-heavy title track, he's followed up with a video for the album's other main single, "Crooked." Always the style chameleon, GD dresses up in punk-inspired fashion for the clip, which was filmed on location in London. The Six Pistols would be proud!
If GD's transformation into a punk rocker wasn't surprising enough, he's also gone and collaborated with Sky Ferreira (of all people). The pair team up on the Coup D'etat cut, "Black," which is a moody hip-hop number that wouldn't sound out of place on a Drake album. This is the fourth American collaboration from GD's new album, following Diplo, Baauer, and Missy Elliott. As for Ferreira, hooking up with K-pop's biggest star is definitely another sizeable notch in her belt. This year alone, she's scored modelling gigs with everyone from Saint Laurent to Forever 21, is starring in Eli Roth's upcoming cannibal horror film, The Green Inferno, and will release a new EP later this month.
Anyway, check out both "Crooked" and "Black," below.
