Like most K-pop acts, BIGBANG's G-Dragon doesn't waste any time when it comes to putting out new music. The world tour for his One of a Kind EP doesn't wrap up until Sunday, but GD's already gearing up to release his second studio album on August 18. YG Entertainment confirmed the good news earlier today, but that's not even the best bit about all of this. Apparently for the album, GD's roped in not only Diplo, who was behind GD⊤'s hip-hop hit, "Knock Out," but also Missy Elliott, to feature on one of the tracks.

The Missy-assisted song was produced by YG hitmaker, Teddy, and samples a classic Korean folk classic called "Nilliliya." YG elaborated by saying that the as-yet-untitled track will feature a distinctly Korean sound, but will also be unique like Missy's own music. The best of both worlds?

GD already gets loads of coverage online from non-K-pop music press, but his exposure will probably increase tenfold once the Missy and Diplo tracks hit the web. We can already envision the future headlines plastered across The Fader and Pitchfork.

Outside of the new GD album, other YG releases slated for later this year include a bunch of 2NE1 singles followed by a new album, the launch of a new boy band and a new girl group, and possibly another Taeyang solo album. It's a good time to be a YG stan.
