kentucky clerk kim davis married 4 times
Do as she says, not as she does, y'all.
Turns out that God bothered Kentucky clerk bigot who refuses to issue marriage licenses to gay couples—even though that is what she is paid to do, and required to do by law—has been married herself, not once, twice or three times, but FOUR.
Adding further to her clearly adhered to sanctity of marriage ideals, and devotion to living her life as the Bible dictates, Kim Davis gave birth to twins five months after divorcing her first husband.
Her second husband subsequently adopted the kids, but they were actually fathered by her third husband. And she’s now on her fourth marriage, after reuniting with her second husband, who she assures us all, is “the one.”
For anyone out there who may be confused by the Jerry Springer dream guest’s love life—Basically, Kim cheated on Husband #1 with Future Husband #3, got pregnant by #3, divorced #1, married Husband #2, who adopted #3’s twins, divorced Husband #2, married Husband #3, divorced Husband #3, and re-married Husband #2 …AKA “The One”.
You couldn’t make this shit up.
As Popdust previously reported, the Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk was caught on camera blatantly flouting the law of the land last month.
In a truly horrible altercation, David V Moore and his partner of 17 years were refused a marriage license because Davis decided it offended her “Christian” sensibilities, and claims her duty to God overrides the law of the United States.
“I never imagined a day like this would come, where I would be asked to violate a central teaching of Scripture and of Jesus Himself regarding marriage,” Davis says of her decision.
“To issue a marriage license which conflicts with God’s definition of marriage, with my name affixed to the certificate, would violate my conscience.”
Simple then..... if you feel unable to do your job, RESIGN.
Some may think Davis’ divorce record could be seen as being in conflict with the good Lord’s definition of marriage too—however, according to Davis, it’s all OK for her, because she’s been "forgiven."
“I am not perfect,” Davis admits. “No one is. But I am forgiven and I love my Lord and must be obedient to Him and the Word of God.”
It’s a complete turn-around from last November, when Davis, who won her Clerk position on a Democratic ticket (when she is clearly NOT a Democrat), vowed in an interview with the Moorehead News, “I will be the very best working clerk that I can be and will be a good steward of their tax dollars and follow the statutes of this office to the letter.”
We’re guessing that God dude is all good with Davis when it comes to her lying through her teeth too.
You can demand Kim Davis be reprimanded for her refusal to do her job by contacting Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear via his website or call his office on (502) 564-2611 to —and call Bill May, executive director of the Kentucky County Clerks Association, on (502) 227-2922
