Hey, The Girl From "Mad Men" and "Community" Has a Music Career

You know and love Allson Brie, don't you? If you don't, you should—she's the sweetly smiling actress behind two very similar (and also two very different) roles in cult TV right now, naive Greendale student Annie Edison on Community and doting housewife (to chauvinistic simp Pete) Trudy Campbell on Mad Men. Well, if your crush on her can extend to multiple mediums, it looks like she also has a singing career of some sort on the way—at least if this clip of her (along with backing group (?) The Girls) is any indication.

She and The Girls cover Hall & Oates' "Rich Girl" (which all the cool kids are doing these days) and though it doesn't exactly put a new spin on the blue-eyed soul classic, it's a very nice, low-key rendition, with lovely harmonies, and Alison sounds...well, she sounds exactly like you'd hope and expect her to. We'd listen to her album once or twice on Spotify. Check it out below. And hey, Pete—when are you gonna shape up and start treating Trudy right? Quit creepy-obsessing over Alexis Bledel already.
