19-year-old starlet-in-training Ariana Grande may be all smiles on the cover of the August issue of Seventeen Magazine, but her interview reveals the sad side of stardom.

"I worked with someone who told me they'd never like me," Grande confides. "But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval." She continues, "I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy." The nerve. We love you just "The Way" you are, Ariana!

Although she doesn't reveal the identity of her Victorious bully, her candor will indubitably fuel some heated tween speculation. The Arianators surely have her back. So does Mac Miller, we wouldn't wonder.
