Iggy Azalea is all over the media right now for various cultural appropriation controversies and a feud with serial-beefer Azealia Banks, but some of us are more interested in Iggy's music than her scandals.
We've been waiting for the rapper to drop a music video for her current hit Beg For It, but in-between battling with Banks and defending herself on Twitter, Iggy tweeted that the video's now been scrapped due to time constraints.
Not only that, but she's ready to move on to her next official single, which appears to be Trouble featuring Jennifer Hudson.
"gotta move to trouble," Iggy tweeted in response to a fan asking about the Beg For It video. "jingleball made it incredibly hard to do anything else this month. it seems like i missed the window."
This isn't a huge surprise considering how Beg For It has severely underperformed on the charts compared to previous singles, Fancy and Black Widow.
Trouble definitely has the potential to be bigger than Beg For It was; it follows the same formula as all of Iggy's hits by having a strong female vocalist serve as the hook singer, while the song's pop-soul production falls right in line with current Hot 100 chart-toppers like Meghan Trainor and Mark Ronson.
Take a listen to Trouble below.
