Thanks to her role as a judge this season on American Idol, memories of Jennifer Lopez's past flops have mostly faded away (unless YouTube is concerned). Her current success has proven her likable enough to be trusted with the fledgling careers of young and impressionable musicians. After initial reports of a reality competition show with husband Marc Anthony were leaked last week, new details on the show have been revealed. According to a press release from XIX Entertainment, Lopez and Anthony will star alongside director Jamie King in Q'Viva! The Chosen, created by Idol mastermind Simon Fuller. The couple will travel to Latin America looking for emerging musicians, dancers and artists to feature in a live show, lauded as "one of the greatest celebrations of Latin culture that the world has ever seen." Filmed in three languages and airing across 21 countries, the search will extend from major Latin American cities to the smallest of remote villages (but luckily for the crew, Blackberry is a sponsor). "We are going to places where all of this talent lives and wouldn’t have otherwise been discovered," Lopez said in a statement. "This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and groundbreaking." Translation: This is another "let's make the underdog a superstar" reality program, only this time it's multilingual!
