How to do our job: See Justin Timberlake's name in the headlines. Notice that the accompanying story has little to nothing to do with Justified, FutureSex/LoveSounds or any continuation of mostly promising music career. Allude to our video callout of this trend. Listen to "My Love." Sigh in a way the songwriters didn't foresee. This time around:

- Justin Timberlake will star in Spinning Gold, a biopic of Casablanca Records founder and general mogul Neil Bogart, who's largely responsible for the careers of KISS, Parliament, Donna Summer, and The Village People, among others. Timberlake will also be credited as a feature producer on the film, Deadline reports. The one bit of hope, for those who take solace in Justin maybe singing again, is this sentence: "Additionally, Boardwalk Records plans to produce an album in conjunction with the movie." No details, but it's not a huge stretch to imagine Timberlake might be involved. Somehow. Maybe. After a quick round of golf.

- Timberlake is also being honored by the Environmental Media Association, joining Maroon 5, Rosario Dawson and Edward Norton. This is laudable. We still suspect that some part of Justin's reducing his carbon footprint involved not using the electricity to power a recording studio or the materials to manufacture CDs.
