As expected from their early digital domination, SISTAR's the big winner on this week's GAON singles chart. The group's new album, Give It To Me, has produced an impressive three top five hits: Lead single, "Give It To Me," arrives at No. 1, followed by "The Way You Make Me Melt" at No. 2, and "Bad Boy" at No. 4.
Additionally, every other song from the group's album has debuted in the top 100, with the disc's intro track, "Miss Sistar," being the lowest at No. 66. However, the album itself only managed to reach No. 5 on the albums chart, showing that SISTAR still has a long way to go when it comes to physical sales.
After School's spectacular pole dancing single, "First Love," debuts at No. 12, followed closely by Ivy's "I Dance" at No. 13. Both songs could still rise a few spots next week though, so don't get too upset if you're a fan of either act and frustrated that they didn't make the top ten -- it could still happen!
EXO's "Wolf" drops 22 spots to No. 32 after briefly scraping into the top ten last week. EXO stirred up controversy over the weekend following their clean sweep of the music programs, with many believing that their soft digital sales didn't warrant their multiple wins. But considering the group's unbeatable album sales and fan support, on top of the fact that they did manage to get "Wolf" into the top ten for a week, their music program victories seem pretty justified.
