Katy Perry's familiar with performing cover songs, just a few weeks ago she took on Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" for President Obama (one of his favorite songs!) at a fundraiser. Last Thursday night she dared to attempt Bonnie Raitt's soaring sad song, "I Can't Make You Love Me" at amFAR's gala, as a tribute to Creative Artists Agency's Kevin Huvane.

Donning a Florence Welch-inspired long-sleeved Naeem Khan gown, Perry sang Raitt's classic quite well, we think, despite only a portion of the song appearing online (so far.)

Katy's not the first to attempt the cover. Adele has also covered Raitt, and has her own version of her "favorite song."

As expected, we'll ask: Who did it better?
