Kristen Stewart sexuality speculation continues and she handles it like the true badass she is
The Kristen Stewart sexuality speculation continues —and she really couldn’t care less…because, Kristen Stewart.
The 26-year-old is notoriously private when it comes to her personal life—and she has no plan to change that anytime soon.
Stewart sat down for an interview recently, and talked about how she refuses to define her sexuality.
She tells Variety:
There’s acceptance [of sexual fluidity] that’s become really rampant and cool.
You don’t have to immediately know how to define yourself.
I had to have some answer about who I was. I felt this weird responsibility, because I didn’t want to seem fearful.
But nothing seemed appropriate. So I was like, ‘Fuck, how do I define that?’ I’m not going to.
Plus, I didn’t want to fuck with other people.
I didn’t want to be this example: It’s so easy.
I don’t want it to seem like it was stupid for them to have a hard time.
However, just because she’s not willing to define it, doesn’t mean she’s hiding it.
She tells Variety:
When I was dating a guy, I would never talk about my relationships to anyone.
I feel the same way now.
I’m not hiding shit.
And I’m very obviously …
She leaves the last part for everyone to work out by themselves.
Stewart goes on to say she wants to be a proponent for the LGBT movement.
And, she explains why she’s more than happy to be photographed engaging in same sex PDAs:
That’s really important to me.
As much as I want to protect myself, it’s not about hiding.
As soon as you start throwing up so many walls, you cannot see over them yourself, so you just start isolating in a way that’s not honest.
I definitely found where I’m comfortable. I don’t take credit for that.
Things have really shifted in this wonderful way. I’m reaping the benefits.
Meanwhile, just because she’s not labeling herself, doesn’t mean she’s not owning it:
Me not defining it right now is the whole basis of what I’m about.
If you don’t get it, I don’t have time for you.
You go girl.

The hit musical will drop on Disney+ July 3rd.
Lin Manuel-Miranda's Hamilton has taken the theater world by storm since its 2015 Broadway premiere.
A hip-hop musical about America's founding fathers doesn't sound immediately appealing, but Manuel-Miranda's brilliant song writing and diverse casting not only captured the attention of audiences, but proved that major change is possible within an art form as encumbered by traditions as musical theater.
Using a Black dialect isn't a meme—it's cultural appropriation.
As Black Lives Matter protests have rightfully taken the world by storm over the past couple of months, we're long overdue for thorough evaluations of just how often aspects of Black heritage have been co-opted by white audiences.
It should be obvious that much of fashion and music as we know it today was invented by Black people. We (hopefully) all know by now that we can no longer accept Blackface and use of the n-word by non-Black people as the norm—and Internet users have tried "canceling" offenders in the public eye, with varying degrees of success.
