Shortly after Lady Gaga's appearance as a guest mentor and performer on American Idol, Mother Monster is taking her talents elsewhere on the Fox reality-competition circuit. Now, Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe has confirmed that Gaga will be making an appearance on that other show he executive produces, So You Think You Can Dance. Rather than a mere performer or mentor this time around, though, Gaga will be serving as a guest judge, helping determine the fates of the poor kids dancing for $250,000 and the title of "America's Favorite Dancer." Lythgoe cited Gaga's performance expertise as a reason she was being brought on the show. "We can discuss technique for days on end," Lythgoe said. "But really, the public want to get, and coerce these contestants, to make sure that they know how to perform."

Our expert advice to the SYTYCD contestants in advance: Lots of hand stuff. Gaga seems to love the jazz hands. You can thank us later.
