This Wednesday Lady Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti makes his fashion-week debut as the creative director of Thierry Mugler, and she's helping get the word out by loaning an unreleased song of hers to his big night. "I'm the musical director for the MUGLER fashion show," she announced on Twitter this morning. "I'm remixing/previewing a record on Born This Way, tailored for the show + garments." Well! A glance at the Thierry Mugler site, which is currently previewing the collection, reveals an overarching dark, metal-and-bones aesthetic that is pretty in tune with the direction Gaga's been going in since the release of The Fame Monster. (And it's not too much of a stretch to think that Slipknot could call upon Formichetti's services for their next round of mask-making.)

This is a pretty wonderful favor for Gaga to offer up, although you can see in Formichetti's Best Moments Of 2010 post that he's pretty deserving of it—after all, he had a hand in pretty much all of Gaga's biggest fashion moments of '10, including the meat dress, the "Telephone" video, and the double-gunned brassiere on the cover of Rolling Stone. (Man, remember when that seemed like an untoppable fashion feat?)

The show's on Wednesday and it'll be available for official online streaming the day after that, although surely some smartphone-equipped Little Monster will try to sneak past the velvet ropes and bootleg the thing. For now, let's watch the "Telephone" video and marvel at its high-intensity fashion once more:
