We know that Thanksgiving plates are generally crowded with deliciousness, but hopefully you'll save room for a healthy serving of gagaloo this year. Lady Gaga will be the subject of her own 90-minute special, scheduled for November 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Rather than a traditional concert film, Gaga will lend herself to a sit-down interview with Katie Couric, filmed from her own alma mater, Manhattan's Convent of the Sacred Heart. "We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers," Couric explained. "She will impress you, delight you and surprise you."
Gaga will also perform an eight-song set list, which will include "Marry The Night," "You and I" and her Tony Bennett duet "The Lady Is A Tramp." And because Justin Bieber doesn't not own all things Christmas—yet—she'll provide her own welcome for the incoming holiday season with "White Christmas." Let this also serve as a polite reminder that Gaga and Bieber will both be joining Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Eve special to ring in 2012, meaning that by next year you should expect to celebrate everything from President's Day to Arbor Day with the two biggest pop stars of the moment. It's likely these 90 minutes of Gaga will not disappoint—although you might want to preempt the special with a general FAQ sheet for Grandma and Grandpa—but it does have an awfully impressive standard to live up to, after back-t0-back Turkey Day specials from Beyoncé. And there's only one way to top Queen B: Katie Couric stage dive!
