A concerned LL Cool J sees a disturbing video of her soliciting for crack-cocaine, her response is a dose of reality

"Hey Todd. Well, I love you. I don't need help. I need a benefit concert for mental health." said Maia.

A video of Maia Campbell got noticed by many, including co-star and friend, LL Cool J. He was certainly concerned about her and shocked at the sate she was in. Maia looked like she was in real trouble. The trending video showed the her asking for crack in her bra and underwear at a gas station taken by Darrell Cole, Watch the video below:

LL Cool J reached out trying to get in contact with his '90s In the Houseco-star, posting on Instagram, "If anyone has a contact on Maia pls let me know . . ."

LL Cool J shamed the person who took the video of Campbell on Twitter, saying, "Instead of pulling out your phone and filming someone who's obviously having trouble. Maybe lend a helping hand? A kind word?"

Campbell has since responded to his search with a video that was apparently shot inside a barber shop where she works temporarily. In the video, she named the man who shot the video, Darrell Cole, and said that she didn't need any help, unless LL Cool J wanted to help her throw a benefit concert for mental health.

"Hey Todd. Well, I love you. I don't need help. I need a benefit concert for mental health. Don't TMZ me. It's really me. This is, Darryl [referencing to the man filming the video]. And this is the shop that we temp at. We're good. I'm doing property. I have investments. And my show is called, 'From The Bottom Up' season 2," she said.

She also pointed out that LL Cool J has her mother's number if he wants to contact her, saying of anyone who wanted to get in touch with her, "Don't call me. I'll call you."

LL Cool J wants to help his former co-star, Maia Campbell, after a video of her begging for drug money at a gas station in Atlanta surfaced on the internet.

"If anyone has a contact on Maia pls let me know," he wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of the former actress.

On Twitter, Cool J also criticized the person who took the video.

"Instead of pulling out your phone and filming someone who's obviously having trouble. Maybe lend a helping hand? A kind word?" he said.

But hours later, he tweeted: "You can't help someone who doesn't want your help."

Campbell, 40, starred in the TV series, In the House with LL Cool J between 1995 and 1998. Her history of drug addiction and bipolar disorder goes back several years. In 2012, she opened up about her addiction to crystal meth and her struggles with mental illness on an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life with relationship expert, Iyanla Vanzant.

Before taping that episode, Campbell became somewhat of a Youtube star in a negative manner, as several videos of her allegedly on drugs and involved in prostitution were published online.
