Popdust can now exclusively reveal that the rumors are in fact true!  Our source tells us that gorgeous Margot and her husband, British film director, Tom Ackerley, definitely got married during a trip to Australia last year, in a ceremony attended by just family and very close friends.

"It was all very Margot, low key and fun," a source tells Popdust exclusively. "And, it says a lot about Tom and Margot that they managed to keep this totally under the radar. They are a great couple and really crazy about each other, the wedding was really beautiful and a true celebration of their love for each other."

Eagle eyed fans have spotted the Suicide Squad star sporting a ring on the all important finger which has sparked the speculation of either an engagement or marriage.

Tom and Margot, 24,  got together a year ago while they were both working on Suite Francaise  and pictures of them putting on an adorable PDA during a break in filming in Toronto in June showed both of them wearing rings.

Margot shot to fame on the Australian long running soap Neighbours before moving to America where she made her big screen debut in Richard Curtis' romantic comedy-drama, About Time.  She starred this year in Focus with Will Smith—it was during the publicity tour for the film that she hilariously out-drove Will on Top Gear.

Tom's directing film credits are impressive—Pride, Rush and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy amongst others.

Margot was previously linked to several leading Hollywood men, including Wolf of Wall Street co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith and Bradley Cooper—all of which she denied.

She revealed recently that long distance relationships are hard work, saying, "I don't know how anyone makes a relationship work [like this] to be honest."
