There will be no pity parties for us today. Popdust favorite Melanie Martinez has officially extended her sold-out Cry Baby Tour with new dates beginning in September. In support of her gold-certified Cry Baby debut studio album, The Voice star continues her headlining adventure June 23 with a concert at the USF Performing Arts Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana and notches a total of 36 shows throughout the rest of the year on solo dates and festival appearances (with even more added, as noted below).

Ticket on-sale begins this Friday (June 24) at 10 am local time. Details on her official website.

Also coming up, Martinez is expected to take the outdoor stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live June 29 with two album standouts, Pity Party and Mrs. Potato Head.

Melanie Martinez Talks 'Cry Baby' LP, Childhood Toys, Cake & Party Essentials

Cry Baby was named one of Popdust's Best Albums of 2015. “A decoratively agile adornment of toy-like sounds and textures pins together a story of a young girl force-fed to the machinations of abandonment (Pity Party), bloody terror (Sippy Cup), exhilarating love (Training Wheels), crippling heartache (Soap, Alphabet Boy), glossy optimism (Mad Hatter) and even emotional emptiness (Pacify Her). Martinez isn't asking you to embrace every single charmingly twisted chapter of her fairytale. She concocts a world of enchanted transgressions and human-consuming flaws—often slicing open the flesh of our culture in considerably barbaric ways—to make you reconsider your own."
