For those of you who are close followers of what's on fleek, let's hope you have jumped on the latest bandwagon—plastic bag selfies.
Yes you did read that right. Apparently the new trend is quite literally donning yourself with a used plastic bag, taking a photo and uploading it to social media using the hashtag #bagfie.
The bizarre trend originated from Taiwan and has gone viral, with budding fashionistas going to the supermarket and wearing the bags after unpacking their groceries—they seem to be mainly young teenage girls who stare into the camera with a kind of creepy vacant expression.
The bags are stretched taughtly across their pre-pubescent looking bodies so it's not difficult to see why their photos are getting the likes. The most common choice of baggie seems to be from Seven Eleven and apparently it is vital that the bag brand is on show.
Of all the weird stuff to come out of the Far East this has to be one of the weirdest. We have searched the internet but can't see that selfie queen Kim Kardashian has caught on yet—although trying to imagine her gargantuan ass squeezing into a Seven Eleven bag is beyond us. Come to think of it, trying to imagine KK actually going to a Seven Eleven is beyond us.
