Nathan West's East Of Eli Bids 'Farewell' In Brand New Song—Listen To The Premiere!

East Of Eli, helmed by actor and producer Nathan West (of 2000's blockbuster film Bring It On) is set to drop its debut EP Nothing Ordinary on March 30. Ahead of its release, Popdust is exclusively premiering one of the tracks, the searing ballad "Farewell."

Over the years, West has been cultivating his musical skills and created the upcoming record in anticipation of his production of the independent feature, Into the Mystic. Many of his musical influences include Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and Otis Redding.

Apart from his musical pursuits, he has demonstrated his strength has a remarkable actor and producer, working in such films as Disney's Miracle, the award-winning feature Alleged and IFC's Brake.

"To me, there's no other artistic expression more powerful than when story and character take form in the shape of lyric and melody," West says of the EP release.

This weekend, East Of Eli will head out on a mini-tour, kicking off on Friday (March 21) at the House of Blues in LA and continuing to the end of April.
