These days every vaguely hip pop act must contribute to the soundtrack of a supernatural or dystopian teen movie franchise, and now it's Lorde's turn (again).

The 17-year-old is officially curating the soundtrack for the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1 film, and will also provide the lead single from the album.

The cover art for the song, titled "Yellow Flicker Beat," dropped today, along with an impending release date of September 29.

"Yellow Flicker Beat" was produced by Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence + the Machine), so you know it's going to be a smash. Actually, it'll probably shoot straight to the top of iTunes on the day of its release. I'm calling it now, and if I'm wrong, may Katniss strike me down where I stand.
