Lorde is well on her way to seeing diamonds in the flesh, as "Royals" has just landed at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Billboard has just officially announced Lorde's jump above Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" and Katy Perry's "Roar," which held the number one and two spots respectively. A month shy of turning 17, Lorde is the youngest solo artist to achieve this feat since 16-year-old Tiffany topped the chart with "I Think We're Alone Now" in 1987.

We know at least one Lorde that will be a-leaping well through Christmas.
