No Doubt performed their new single "Looking Hot" on Wednesday night's Tonight Show With Jay Leno and though they did indeed look "hot," their starpower was overshadowed a bit by the program's lead guest, President Barack Obama. But in true No Doubt fashion, they didn't let that (or the fact that everyone, including the band's stylist, had to be frisked by the secret service) harsh their style.

Out of respect for the occasion, we imagine, the band wore a their own takes on the classic suit, including Gwen, who rocked a pair of gray drop-crotch pleated trousers and a sleeveless button-up black shirt with an oversize tie. Bandmate Tom Dumont topped his formal look with a studded black leather moto jacket, while Tony Kanal toned his suit down with a pair of black leather sneakers. Even fashion wild card Adrian Young got in on the fun with a sleeveless plaid shirt, a black vest and a black-and-white bow-tie. Oh, and pants. Thank god he wore pants.

Someone from the President's team Tweeted a photo of Obama chatting backstage with the band in which Gwen looks adorably excited. Tony, however, appears less enthusiastic—perhaps he was hoping Michelle Obama would be there as well so he could nab another hug?

There's no doubt (sigh) that Gwen & Co. planned to perform the same night as Obama—Gwen is big supporter of the president and his wife and even hosted Michelle at her house for a night of campaign fundraising in August.
