The Glee season two finale is scheduled for Tuesday May 24, but fans can continue to play their favorite songs on repeat for at least one week longer free of judgment, thanks to the inaugural Glee The Music Awards. Hosted by blogger and Glee superfan Perez Hilton, with a special appearance by McKinley's own gossip blogger Jacob Ben-Israel, the show will be broadcast on Tuesday May 31 at 8 p.m. on Hilton's site via LiveStream (it might be worth tuning in just to see that dynamite pairing interact). Fans can vote for categories like Song of the Season, Best Female and Male Solos and Best Duet, as well as submit their own original video for a chance to win the prestigious Best Fan Video Award.

It's unclear what the prizes will be (fingers crossed there are golden slushie trophies involved) or what the purpose of the event really is—other than driving traffic to Hilton's site and instigating yet another fierce Glee debate among enthusiastic fans, of course. The list of nominees is questionable at times (poor Tina didn't even get to finish her rendition of "I Follow Rivers," but it's still Female Solo of the Year material?), but as for Song of the Year, is there really any question here?

(Then again I may be biased.)
