It was the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards last night and all the top tv shows were there to stake their claim.

Viola Davis made history as the first African American woman to win the Best Actress in a drama for her incredible performance in How To Get Away With Murder and gave an emotional speech when she received her award.

Jon Hamm finally picked up the best actor gong for the final season of Mad Men and literally climbed onto the stage to accept his award.  He then touchingly paid tribute to ex partner Jennifer Westfeldt in his acceptance speech despite their recent split.

Veep won outstanding comedy series as well it should.  Always a fantastically written and brilliantly acted show, last season was taken up a notch even further with the addition of Hugh Laurie to the cast.

Joan Rivers was among the stars paid tribute to, along with Leonard Nimoy and Patrick Macnee.

Have we said enough about the ceremony yet? Yes?  Then lets get down to what the evening is really all about—namely who wore what and who wore it best.
