Alt-pop singer-songwriter Blanche unveils her debut LP, Empire, a delicious fusion of electronica, indie, and pop via PIAS Recordings.
Since launching her project three years ago, Blanche has amassed more than 41 million streams. Entry points on Empire include "Till We Collide," with its elegant piano and shimmering synths; "Fences," an intoxicating electro-pop jam; and "Pain," a delicate yet alluring earworm. As gorgeous as the music is, Blanche's voice is what stands out the most, with its magnetic appeal in the tradition of Florence Welch.
